In participation with the A to Z Blog Challenge for 2016, Writer’s Zen is posting affirmations for writers in an A to Z theme. We’ll post every day during April, except Sunday’s – when we all get time off for good behavior.
G: Guilt in a Writer’s Life
I banish guilt from my life. It flees from me. My writing is insulated and protected from guilt’s poison.
I write what I write, when I write.
I refuse to allow guilt to inflect its darts on me.
Guilt is powerless over me.
I do the best I can with balancing writing with the other parts of my life.
I am happy with what I accomplish and celebrate the positive steps I make.

Be gone guilt! Lovely post Trisha thank you! What’s that yummy looking food there? Do I spy a dollop of cream? My guilty pleasure ..
Thank you Susan!
I’ll have to go look at the food picture to check and see. Have a wonderful day!

Ah, okay. Some fossils in a wooden bowl on my desk.

Getting there!
Great attitude. Celebrate the good and forget the bad. LOL
Thank you Jean. It’s too easy to grumble and moan about life. And once I get in a cycle, it seems to be a downward spiral. So I try to look for the positive.
Lovely post!

A great reminder. I especially liked, “and celebrate the positive steps I make.”
